Adobe Stock

The Adobe Stock integration provides access to an enormous library of images. When you identify an image to use, you import it into Brightspot and then add it to assets such as articles and galleries.

This section describes how to configure the integration in Brightspot, make the corresponding settings in your Adobe Stock console, and how to perform an integrated search.

The integration requires an Adobe Stock account. See stock.adobe.com.

Including Adobe Stock in a build

The following table lists the dependencies to include in your build configuration.

ArtifactDescription
com.psddev:adobe-stockExposes the external type AdobeStockImage and fields in Edit Site to configure and run integrated search with Adobe Stock.
com.psddev:express-adobe-stockExposes the AdobeImageToImageConverter converter that maps fields in an Adobe Stock image to fields in a Brightspot image.

  2. Click > Admin > Sites & Settings > Sites > Global.
  3. From the Integrations tab, expand the Adobe Stock cluster.
  4. From the Adobe Stock API Client list, click Create New.
  5. Under Integration Name, enter a name for the integration.
  6. In the API Key field, paste the API key from step 1.
  7. In your Adobe Stock console, enter the redirect URIs as shown in the Integration Name field. For details, see Add API to project using OAuth User authentication credentials.

Importing an Adobe Stock image

Use the following procedure to search for and use an image from Adobe Stock.

To search for and use an Adobe Stock image:

  1. Open the search panel.
  2. In the Any Content Type filter on the left, under External Types, select Adobe Stock Image.
  3. Add other filters or search text. For additional information, see Search filters. Brightspot lists any matching images.
  4. Click the image.
  5. In the content edit form, click Import.

Brightspot imports the image and displays it in a content edit form. You can modify the title, credit, or other metadata, and then use the image in an asset.

For additional information about importing external assets, see Syncing with external images.
