Person

A person is somebody at your organization that you want to promote on your site. Examples of a person include a member of your leadership team, a member of the board of directors, or a stellar employee.

If necessary, create and upload images you will use in the person. For details, see Image.

To create a person:

  1. In the header, click .
  2. From the Create list, select Person.
  3. Using the following table as a reference, complete the fields as needed.
  4. Complete your site's workflow and publish the person.

Person fields

Click each tab below to see a description of the associated fields.

FieldDescription
NamePerson's full name. This name is visible to the visitors to your site.
First NamePerson's first name. This name is not visible to the visitors to your site. Instead, it is used internally in the CMS for ordering (For example, this field allows you to search for persons by first name).
Last NamePerson's last name. This name is not visible to the visitors to your site. Instead, it is used internally in the CMS for ordering (For example, this field allows you to search for persons by last name).
ImagePerson's image, typically a head shot. This image is visible to the visitors to your site.
TitleEnter a title for this asset. This title is visible to the visitors to your site.
AffiliationOrganization with which the person is affiliated. This name is not visible to the visitors to your site.
EmailPerson's email. The email is not visible to the visitors to your site.
Short BiographyEnter a short biography. When the person appears in a list, this text is visible to the visitors to your site. (Defaults to Full Biography.)
Full BiographyText that appears in the person's bio. This text is visible to the visitors to your site.
SlugThis field, by default, is auto-populated by a Title, Name, Display Name, or Headline field, and becomes part of the asset's URL.

Auto-populated slugs are lowercase, have diacritics removed, and any symbols or spaces are replaced with -.

You can modify the URL Slug field if necessary.
