Sponsor

This topic explains how to create a sponsor in Brightspot.

Creating sponsors​

To create a sponsor:

  1. In the header, click .
  2. From the Create list, select Sponsor.
  3. Using the following table as a reference, complete the fields as needed.
  4. Complete your site's workflow and publish the sponsor.

After you save your sponsor, you can use it in assets such as articles, galleries, and listicles.

FieldDescription
Display NameEnter a display name. This name is not visible to the visitors to your site.
Internal NameEnter an internal name for this asset. Brightspot uses this name internally, such as in the search panel and recent activity widget. This name is not visible to visitors to your site.
LogoClick and select an image. This image is visible to visitors to your site.
Sponsor LinkSelect None, Internal or External.
  • None—No sponsor is displayed.
  • Internal—A sponsor link is displayed that links to an internal asset.
  • External—A sponsor link is displayed that links to an external URL.
Using the Sponsor Link Advanced tab

When setting up an internal or external call to action, you have the option to set how the link will behave. Select either Internal or External, then specify a target or, for internal links only, an anchor to which you link visitors.
