Vimeo

Brightspot's Vimeo integration lets you search and import videos from Vimeo into federated search.

Configuring the integration

To configure the Vimeo integration:

1. From the left navigation, under Admin, click Sites & Settings, then select the Global site.
2. From the Integrations tab, expand the Vimeo cluster.
3. In the Client ID field, type the OAuth client ID from your Vimeo app.
4. In the Client Secret field, type the OAuth client secret from your Vimeo app.
5. (Optional) From the Number of Videos to Load Each Request list, select a batch size: 10, 25, 50, or 100. If left blank, Brightspot defaults to 50.
6. Click Save.

Importing a video

This module doesn't ship a content type for imported videos. Which content type an import converts to depends entirely on what your project has implemented.

To import a video from Vimeo:

1. In the header, click the search field to open the search panel.
2. Under Global Filters, from the content-type filter, select Vimeo Video.
3. Perform an integrated search. For details, see Performing integrated searches in Brightspot.
4. Click the video you want to import.
5. Click Import.
6. Complete your site's workflow and publish the asset.
