Shutterstock
Brightspot's Shutterstock integration lets you search and import licensed images from a linked Shutterstock account into federated search.
Configuring the integration
To configure the Shutterstock integration:
- From the left navigation, under Admin, click Sites & Settings.
- From the Integrations tab, expand the Shutterstock cluster.
- Expand the Shutterstock API Client list, and select an API client. If the required API client does not appear, click Create New, and complete the following fields:
- (Optional) In the Name field, type a name to identify this API client.
- In the Consumer Key field, type the consumer key from the Shutterstock Developers Console.
- In the Consumer Secret field, type the consumer secret from the Shutterstock Developers Console.
- (Optional) In the Access Token Override field, type an access token to use instead of Brightspot's OAuth exchange.
- Click Save.
Linking your account
Shutterstock imports images on behalf of the signed-in editor rather than a shared service account. If you have not linked your Shutterstock account, the search results panel shows a "Click here to authenticate Shutterstock" prompt instead of a search field.
To link your Shutterstock account:
- Open the search panel for Shutterstock.
- Click the authentication link ("Click here to authenticate Shutterstock" the first time, or Link another account to add an additional account).
- Sign in to Shutterstock and approve the requested permissions.
After you approve access, Brightspot returns you to the search panel and Shutterstock is ready to search.
