Keyboard shortcuts
Brightspot provides keyboard shortcuts and skip links to help you navigate the interface without a mouse.

The skip links panel requires Brightspot 5.0.2 or higher.
Skip links
Skip links appear at the top of any Brightspot page when you first tab into it. They let you jump directly to a key interface region without tabbing through every element in between.
To use skip links:
- Click outside the Brightspot page in your browser, then press Tab to display the skip links panel (labeled Skip To in the interface).
- Press Tab again to move through the available destinations.
- Press Enter to jump to the selected destination.
To close the panel without navigating, press Escape.
Available destinations
The destinations shown depend on which regions are active on the current page. The panel always includes Header and Page Navigation. Additional destinations appear based on context:
- On the dashboard and other general pages: Main Content
- On admin pages (such as Dashboards or Plugins): [Page name] Navigation and Main Content
Region navigation
To move between regions from anywhere in Brightspot, use the region navigation shortcut:
- Windows and Linux: F6 (forward) / Shift+F6 (backward)
- Mac: ⌥+Tab (forward) / ⌥+Shift+Tab (backward)
