Searching for videos
Vidyard videos appear as a federated search source in content pickers that accept external items. The plugin only surfaces videos with a status of "ready"—videos that are still encoding or in an error state are not available for selection.
To search for a Vidyard video:
- In a content picker that supports external items, type a search query.
- From the source filter, select Vidyard.
The results list shows matching videos from the configured Vidyard account.
- From the Sort dropdown list, select a sort order if needed.

| Title (A-Z) | Sorted alphabetically by title, ascending |

- Select a video to attach it to the asset.
- Complete your site's workflow to publish the asset.
Known limitation
Admin API tokens do not have visibility of videos stored in Vidyard users' personal folders. Videos in personal folders do not appear in federated search results, even if they are accessible in the Vidyard dashboard.
