Configuring Site Archive

Site Archive is disabled by default. An administrator must enable it before the plugin queues or creates any snapshots.

To enable Site Archive:

1. From the left navigation, under Admin, click Sites & Settings, then select the Global site.

2. From the Integrations tab, expand the Site Archive cluster.

3. Select the Enabled checkbox.

   The plugin's cascading save logic and its archive-creation task both check this setting before doing any work.

4. Using the following table as a reference, complete the fields as needed.

   Field	Description
   Cron Expression	A Quartz cron expression for how often the archive-creation task runs. Leave the field blank to use the default cadence of every 12 hours. The field's note shows a human-readable description of whatever expression you enter.
   Excluded Diff Fields	Field names or prefixes to exclude from the diff view, in addition to the system defaults. Supports both exact field names and prefixes. Coordinate changes with engineering to avoid unintended behavior.
   Show Widget When No Archives	Select this checkbox to display the Archive History widget on archivable content before its first snapshot exists. Cleared by default.

5. Click Save.

Enabling Site Archive does not create snapshots of assets that were already published. See Backfilling existing assets to queue snapshots for them.
