Using the edit popup icon

Brightspot adds an Edit Popup column to CMS search results. The column contains an icon that opens the asset's edit page in a popup, so you can make changes without leaving the search results list.

To open an asset for editing in a popup:

1. In the search results list, locate the asset you want to edit.
2. In the Edit Popup column, click .

Brightspot opens the asset's edit page in a popup dialog over the search results.

tip

To open the asset in a new browser tab instead of a popup, press Ctrl (Windows/Linux) or ⌘ (Mac) while you click the icon.

A site administrator can hide the Edit Popup column for a site. See Hiding the edit popup column.
