With the HubSpot plugin, you incorporate HubSpot forms into Brightspot assets and receive corresponding reports.

Adding a HubSpot account​

Editors can add existing HubSpot accounts to Brightspot. Once an account is added, editors can configure the HubSpot integration to import forms. When adding a HubSpot account, editors can also configure import settings.

To add a HubSpot account:

  1. Click > Admin > Sites & Settings.
  2. In the Sites widget, select the site for which you want to configure this setting, or select Global to configure this setting for all sites.
  3. From the Integrations tab, expand the HubSpot cluster.
  4. Under Accounts, click Add Item, and then from the list, select Create New.
  5. Using the following table as a reference, complete the fields as needed.
  6. Click Save.
FieldDescription
Internal NameEnter an internal name for this asset. Brightspot uses this name internally, such as in the search panel and recent activity widget. This name is not visible to visitors to your site.
Access TokenEnter an access token for this account. This token can be generated in your HubSpot account settings at Settings > Integrations > Private Apps.
Import cluster
Import EnabledToggle on to automatically import forms from HubSpot to Brightspot.
Full Import EnabledToggle on to cause the import task to ingest all forms, not only the forms modified since the last run.
Include Popup FormsToggle on to cause pop-up forms to be imported in addition to embedded and standalone forms. This setting includes the pop-up, dropdown, and slide form types.

Configuration​

The HubSpot integration allows editors to leverage HubSpot forms in Brightspot.

Note

Editors must first add a HubSpot account to Brightspot before the integration can be configured. For details, see Adding a HubSpot account.

To configure the HubSpot integration:

  1. Click > Admin > Sites & Settings.
  2. In the Sites widget, select the site for which you want to enable this feature.

  3. From the Integrations tab, expand the HubSpot cluster.

  4. Under Accounts, click , and then from the list, select an existing HubSpot account.

    Note

    At the Global level, you can set global import frequency. For details, see Setting the global import frequency for HubSpot.

  5. Click Save.

Setting the global import frequency for HubSpot forms​

Editors can set how frequently to run the importer for HubSpot forms for every global or non-global account.

To set the global import frequency for HubSpot forms:

  1. Click > Admin > Sites & Settings > Sites > Global.
  2. From the Integrations tab, expand the HubSpot cluster.
  3. Under Global Import Frequency, enter the number of minutes between each import.
  4. Click Save.
