📄️ Configuring the SendGrid integration
SendGrid settings live on the Site Settings screen, at both the Global level and the individual Site level. A site inherits every setting from Global by default; overriding a setting at the Site level replaces the inherited value for that site only. Access to individual SendGrid actions—creating a campaign, sending it, viewing its activity log, and so on—is controlled separately through a SendGrid additional permission on each role.
📄️ Creating and sending campaigns
Once SendGrid is enabled and configured for a site, a SendGrid widget appears on the edit screen of any published asset that supports SendGrid campaigns. Use the widget to create a campaign from the asset, then update, schedule, send, test, or disconnect it as its status changes.
📄️ Viewing the activity log
Brightspot logs every SendGrid action taken on an asset—creating, updating, scheduling, sending, testing, unscheduling, and disconnecting a campaign—along with any errors encountered along the way. Use the activity log to see what happened to a campaign, when, and who did it.
