Shutterstock Images

The Shutterstock plugins enable federated searches of Shutterstock images directly from the Brightspot search panel. External content retrieved from a third-party repository can optionally be imported into Brightspot and used as any other asset. See Federated search and import for more information.

There are two Shutterstock plugins

  • Feature—This plugin provides federated searches of Shutterstock resources. These resources are retrieved as read-only and are not imported into Brightspot.

  • Content—Imports Shutterstock resources into Brightspot so you can add or change metadata.

The Shutterstock plugins require the following:

  • Shutterstock enterprise account, allowing any editor to retrieve Shutterstock images.

  • Consumer Key and Consumer Secret to configure the Shutterstock feature plugin. To find these values, go to your Shutterstock My Apps page, then click the listed application.

Configuring your Shutterstock account for OAuth with a hostname and a callback URL, such as https://<domain>/shutterstockAuthorization.
