Google Drive

The Google Drive plugins enable federated searches of Google Drive resources directly from the search panel.

There are two Google Drive plugins:

  • Feature—This plugin provides federated searches of Google Drive. These resources are retrieved as read-only and are not imported into Brightspot.

  • Content—Imports Google Drive resources into Brightspot so you can add or change metadata.

The Google Drive plugins require the following:

  • Google enterprise account, allowing any editor to retrieve Google Drive resources.

  • Drive Client ID, Drive Client Secret, and Google Server API Key to configure the Google Drive plugin. See Enable the Drive platform and Using API Keys.
