Events

Ops Desk can ingest events from a variety of sources, such as the following:

  • Pingdom

  • PagerDuty

  • Travis CI

  • Github

  • Server daemons

Contact your Ops Desk representative to get more information about ingesting events from these or other sources.

Searching for events

Procedure. To search for events:
  1. Open the events listing by clicking |mi-timeline|.

  2. Filter the listing; for details, see Filtering a widget.

  3. Page through the filtered listing.

Assigning events to existing incidents

Ops Desk automatically assigns events to incidents. You can also manually assign an event to an incident.

Procedure. To assign an event to an existing incident:
  1. Search for the event; for details, see Searching for events.

  2. Click |mi-more_horiz| and select Assign Incident. A list of incidents associated with the event's project appears.

  3. Select one of the incidents.

Reassigning events

You can reassign an event from one incident to another.

Procedure. To reassign an event:
  1. Search for the event; for details, see Searching for events.

  2. Click |mi-more_horiz| and select Re-assign Incident. A list of incidents associated with the event's project appears.

  3. Select one of the projects.
