Brightspot CMS User Guide

Embedding an HTML module

You can embed a shared HTML module into the rich-text editor.

Warning
Entering incorrect HTML can cause unexpected results. Be sure the HTML that you are embedding has been verified to produce the expected results.
Note
Before starting this procedure, ensure you have already created the required HTML module. For details, see HTML Embed module.

To embed an HTML module in the rich-text editor:

  1. Place your cursor in the text where you would like the HTML module to be placed.
  2. From the RTE toolbar, select Embed > HTML.
  3. Click search, and from the content picker select an available HTML module or create a new one.
  4. Click Save & Close.
Caution
Inserting or modifying an embedded enhancement does not automatically save the enhancement in the asset. Be sure to save or publish the asset containing this embedded enhancement.
