Attachments

The attachment component allows you to upload a PDF document or designate a link to an external URL, both of which can be used in an article or other item.

There are options to upload files from either your local drive or from Dropbox if Dropbox has been configured. Contact your Brightspot representative for more information about the Dropbox option.

Procedure. To add an attachment:
  1. In the header, click in the search field. The search panel appears.

  2. From the Create list, select Attachment.

  3. Click New. A blank content edit page appears.

  4. From the File list, select one of the following:

    • Select New Upload, click Choose, and then browse to the file that you want to upload.

    • Select URL and enter the new URL.

  5. Under Title, enter a title.

  6. Complete your site's workflow and publish the attachment.
