How to apply type-specific overrides
  1. From the Navigation Menu, expand Admin, and select Sites & Settings.

  2. In the Sites widget, click site to which you want to apply a type-specific override.

  3. Under Front End, expand Type Specific Overrides.

  4. Under Type Specific Overrides, click |mi-add_circle_outline|.

  5. From the Types list, select content types to which you want to apply a type-specific override.

  6. Click |mi-more_horiz| and select Overrides.

  7. Expand Logos & Icons Overrides.

  8. From the Logo list, select one of the following:

    • Inherit—Inherits the logo from the parent level in the content hierarchy.

    • None—Removes a logo that may be inherited from the parent level.

    • Select—Replaces the logo inherited from the parent level. A selection field appears.

  9. From the News Publisher Logo list, select one of the following:

    • Inherit—Inherits the logo from the parent level in the content hierarchy.

    • None—Removes a logo that may be inherited from the parent level.

    • Select—Replaces the logo inherited from the parent level. A selection field appears.

  10. From the Hat list, select one of the following:

    • Inherit—Inherits the hat from the parent level in the content hierarchy.

    • None—Removes a hat that may be inherited from the parent level.

    • Select—Replaces the hat inherited from the parent level. A selection field appears.

  11. From the Navigation list, select one of the following:

    • Inherit—Inherits the navigation from the parent level in the content hierarchy.

    • None—Removes a navigation that may be inherited from the parent level.

    • Select—Replaces the navigation inherited from the parent level. A selection field appears.

  12. From the Footer list, select one of the following:

    • Inherit—Inherits the footer from the parent level in the content hierarchy.

    • None—Removes a footer that may be inherited from the parent level.

    • Set—Replaces the footer inherited from the parent level. A selection field appears.

  13. From the Above list, select one of the following:

    • Inherit—Inherits the above block's modules from the parent level in the content hierarchy.

    • Add After—Inherits the above block's modules from the parent level and adds a new module under them.

    • Add Before—Inherits the above block's modules from the parent level and adds a new module above them.

    • None—Removes any modules in the above block that may be inherited from the parent level.

    • Replace—Replaces the above block's modules inherited from the parent level.

  14. From the Aside list, select one of the following:

    • Inherit—Inherits the aside block's modules from the parent level in the content hierarchy.

    • Add After—Inherits the aside block's modules from the parent level and adds a new module under them.

    • Add Before—Inherits the aside block's modules from the parent level and adds a new module above them.

    • None—Removes any modules in the aside block that may be inherited from the parent level.

    • Replace—Replaces the aside block's modules inherited from the parent level.

  15. Click Save.
