How to make a pull quote module
  1. In the header, click in the search field. The search panel appears.

  2. From the Create list, select a content type (such as Article).

  3. Toward the right of the content edit form, select |mi-more_horiz|> Overrides.

  4. Expand Layout Overrides.

  5. From the Above, Aside, or Below list, select one of the following:

    • Add After—Inherits the block's modules from the parent level and adds a pull quote under them.

    • Add Before—Inherits the block's modules from the parent level and adds a pull quote above them.

    • Replace—Replaces the block's modules inherited from the parent level with a new pull quote.

  6. Click |mi-add_circle_outline|, and select Quote. A form appears.

  7. In the Quote field, paste a sentence or two from your item.

  8. In the Attribution field, enter the name of the person or work to whom the quote is attributed.

  9. To add a one-off image for the pull quote, do the following (otherwise skip to step 10):

    1. From the Image list, select One-Off Image. A form appears.

    2. Do one of the following:

      • To upload an image from your computer, from the File list select New Upload. Click Choose and navigate to the image.

      • To link to an image on the Internet, from the File list select New URL, and paste the image's link.

  10. To add a shared image for the pull quote, do the following (otherwise skip to step 11):

    1. From the Image list, select Shared. A selection field appears.

    2. Click |mi-search|. A content picker appears.

    3. Select an image or create a new one. You return to the content edit form.

  11. If you need to adjust the contrast between the pull quote and the page it's on, do the following:

    1. Expand Quote Styles.

    2. From the Template list, select one of the available templates.

    3. Make selections for color and text that give good contrast with the page.

  12. Complete your site's workflow and publish the item.
