How to make a web image
  1. In the header, click in the search field. The search panel appears.

  2. From the Create list, select Web Image.

  3. Click New. A blank content edit page appears.

  4. Under File, do one of the following:

    • To upload an image from your computer, from the File list select New Upload. Click Choose and navigate to the image.

    • To link to an image on the Internet, from the File list select New URL, and paste the image's link.

  5. In the Alt Text field, enter the image's alt text.

  6. In the Caption, Credit, Source, and Copyright Notice fields, enter text as appropriate.

  7. In the Date Taken field, enter a date the image was taken. (Some versions of Brightspot can automatically extract the date taken from the image.)

  8. Under Tags, do the following:

    1. Click |mi-add_circle_outline|. A selection field appears.

    2. Click |mi-search|. A content picker appears.

    3. Select one or more existing tags, or create new ones.

    4. Close the content picker.

  9. Add additional metadata to the image by doing the following:

    1. Click |mi-more_horiz , then Metadata.

    2. In the Date Taken field, add the date the web image was taken.

    3. In the Date Uploaded field, add the date the web image was uploaded.

    4. In the Keywords field, add keywords that relate to the web image.

  10. Complete your site's workflow and publish the image.

If your version of Brightspot uses AWS Rekognition, the corresponding text appears under AWS Rekognition.
