How to make a listicle
  1. In the header, click |mi-add|.

  2. From the Create list, select Listicle. A blank content edit page appears.

  3. Enter text for Headline and Sub Headline.

  4. In the URL Slug field, enter a slug or retain the default.

  5. Under Authors, do the following:

    1. Click |mi-add_circle_outline|. A selection field appears.

    2. Click |mi-search|. A content picker appears.

    3. Select an existing author, or create a new one.

    4. Close the content picker.

    5. Repeat to add additional authors.

  6. Under Lead, click |mi-add_circle_outline| and select the type of item you want to include as a lead. Fill out the form that appears. Repeat to include additional items.

  7. Enter text into the Body field.

    1. To create listicle items, highlight text.

    2. In the rich-text editor toolbar, click H2 to convert highlighted text to listicle items.

    Note

    H2 formatting will display differently depending on your front-end implementation.

  8. From the Section selection field, do the following:

    1. Click |mi-search|. A content picker appears.

    2. Select an existing section, or create a new one. You return to the content edit form.

  9. Under Tags, do the following:

    1. Click |mi-add_circle_outline|. A selection field appears.

    2. Click |mi-search|. A content picker appears.

    3. Select one or more existing tags, or create new ones.

    4. Close the content picker.

  10. Click Embargo, and select to hold article indefinitely or until a specified date.

  11. Under Secondary Sections, do the following:

    1. Click |mi-add_circle_outline|. A selection field appears.

    2. Click |mi-search|. A content picker appears.

    3. Select one or more existing existing sections, or create new ones.

    4. Close the content picker.

  12. Complete your site's workflow and publish the listicle.

Tip

Often, editors may want convert a listicle into an article. This may be done by clicking the New Listicle dropdown in the top left of the content edit form. All fields remain intact after conversion, preventing editors from having to duplicate work.
