How to make a gallery
  1. In the header, click in the search field. The search panel appears.

  2. From the Create list, select Gallery.

  3. Click New. A blank content edit page appears.

  4. Enter text for Title and Description.

  5. Under Authors, do the following:

    1. Click |mi-add_circle_outline|. A selection field appears.

    2. Click |mi-search|. A content picker appears.

    3. Select an existing author, or create a new one.

    4. Close the content picker.

    5. Repeat to add additional authors.

  6. In the Body field, compose an introduction to the gallery.

  7. To add an unchanging sequence of images to the gallery, do the following (otherwise skip to step 8):

    1. From the Items list, select Advanced.

    2. To add images from your computer, do the following:

      1. Click |mi-publish|.

      2. Select Choose Files or Choose Folder, and navigate to those items on your computer. After you upload the images a form appears.

      3. Add text such as alt text, caption, credit as appropriate. If you uploaded multiple images, the text you add applies to all images.

      4. Click Upload.

      5. Repeat steps i–iv to add additional images from your computer.

    3. To add images already uploaded to Brightspot, do the following:

      1. Click |mi-add_circle_outline|. A form appears.

      2. Click |mi-search|. A content picker appears.

      3. Select images or create new ones.

      4. Close the content picker. You return to the content edit form.

    4. Order the images by hovering over |mi-crop_din| and dragging |mi-open_with|.

  8. To build a gallery from a set of images that changes over time, select Dynamic. (For information about creating a dynamic list, see How to make a dynamic list.)

  9. From the Section selection field, do the following:

    1. Click |mi-search|. A content picker appears.

    2. Select an existing section, or create a new one. You return to the content edit form.

  10. Under Tags, do the following:

    1. Click |mi-add_circle_outline|. A selection field appears.

    2. Click |mi-search|. A content picker appears.

    3. Select one or more existing tags, or create new ones.

    4. Close the content picker.

  11. Complete your site's workflow and publish the gallery.
