Press Release

With the Press Release plugin, you can issue focused and timely press releases to members of the media regarding an important development within your organization.

Configuring Press Release

Administrators perform this task.

  1. From the Navigation Menu, select Admin > Sites & Settings.

  2. In the Sites widget, select the Global site. Global settings can be inherited by all other sites. For details, see Enabling and Disabling Plugins.

  3. Under Plugins, scroll to “Content Plugins” and enable Express: Press Release.

  4. Click Save.

  5. In the content filter of the search panel, scroll to “MAIN CONTENT TYPES.” Verify that Press Release is listed.

Creating a Press Release

Editors perform this task.

  1. From the Dashboard, in the Quick Start widget, click Press Release. A content edit page appears.

  2. Compose the press release. Be sure to include values for the Section, Tags, and other fields as required by your organization’s editorial guidelines.

  3. Click Publish.

You can view the press release by clicking the link in the URLs widget.
