Getty Images

The Getty Images plugins enable federated searches of Getty images directly from the Brightspot search panel. External content retrieved from a third-party repository can be imported into Brightspot and used as any other asset. See Federated Search and Import for more information.

Note that there are two Getty Images plugins. The feature plugin is required, as it provides federated searches of Getty images. These images are retrieved in an external data type format, and can only be viewed in Brightspot as read only. If you want the capability to import external images into Brightspot, you must also enable the Getty Images content plugin.

The Getty plugins require the following:

  • A license with Getty Images. For more information, see Getty Customer Support.
  • An API key and API secret used to configure the Getty plugin. Contact Getty Images to acquire the API key and secret.
