A blog is a collection of article-like posts that can be authored by one or more people around a particular subject. Blogs consist of two content types: Blog that defines the subject and Blog Post with theme-relevant content. A blog typically contains multiple blog posts.


Blogs can belong to a Section or a Package.

Configuring Blog

Administrators perform this task.

  1. From the Navigation Menu, select Admin > Sites & Settings.
  2. In the Sites widget, select the Global site. Global settings can be inherited by all other sites. For details, see Enabling and Disabling Plugins.
  3. Under Plugins, scroll to “Content Plugins” and enable Express: Blog.
  4. Click Save.

With the addition of the plugin, the Blog and Blog Post content types are added to the Commentable Types field in the site’s Front-End tab.


The Blog and Blog Post content types are also added to the Dashboard Quick Start widget.
