Assigning permissions to content on multiple sites

In a multi-site environment, you can allow other editors to edit and publish the items you create.

To assign permissions to content to other site editors:

  1. Search for and open the item in the content edit page.
  2. Scroll down to the Sites widget. (If you don’t see a Sites widget, contact your Brightspot administrator to determine if you have permissions to the widget or if you are working on a multiple site version.)
  3. From the Owner and Access lists, and using the following table as a reference, select a combination of sites or site categories that provide the required permission to other sites and editors.
  4. Complete your site’s workflow and publish the item.

The following table provides example settings for common permissions scenarios. Use this table in conjunction with the illustration Sharing content with other sites.
