Basic Lists

Basic lists are lists whose content does not change. These lists provide links to other items in your Brightspot project.

  1. In the content edit page, open or create the item to which you want to add a basic list.

  2. Under Overrides, expand Module Placement. Drop-down lists Above, Aside, and Below appear for the basic list’s position. (For an illustration of these positions, see the diagram Examples of Module Placement.)

  3. From one of the drop-down lists, select Replace. For an explanation of the possible selections for module placement, see Module Placement.

  4. Click add_circle_outline, and select List. A form appears.

  5. In the Title field, enter a title.

  6. In the Description field, enter a description. For an explanation of the buttons on this field’s toolbar, see Rich Text Editor.

  7. From the Items list, select Basic.

  8. Click add_circle_outline. A selection field appears.

  9. Click the selection field. The content picker appears.

  10. Select one or more items in the content picker, or create and select a new item.

  11. Close the content picker. You return to the List form, which looks similar to the following:

  12. From the Call to Action list, select a call to action.

  13. Click Publish.
