Localization

Localization is the process of developing infrastructure so an application appears in a user-preferred language. You can localize Brightspot itself (so that the widgets and field names appear in a different language), and you can localize the published web sites.

One of Brightspot’s dependencies is the International Components for Unicode (ICU) Java library. Therefore, in addition to the techniques described in the following sections, you can incorporate ICU’s API into your own custom localization functions.
